AAU Girls Basketball
Player Development Teams
This is an Amatuer Athletic Union (AAU) sanctioned player development team on James Island, SC targeting JI, John's Island, Charleston and West Ashley. Established in 2011, you may like to be considered for the 2012 season. A 10th grade and under team is being established now. If interested, fill out registration form and return to Coach Kent.
Sierra Williams scored 19 points in game vs the '11 SC AAU State Champion Low Country Ballers @ AAU Super Regional Tournament, Furman University, Timmons Arena.
Participation Information:
Practices are generally once or twice a week in the Spring. Games/Scrimmages are sporadically planned with other area teams. Summer camps and tournaments are included in the Elite Team schedule. Tournaments are planned in the Spring and Summer.

Maya Barbour plays stiff defense at the AAU SC District, Division 3 Championship Tournament in Columbia.
Developing a greater understanding of the game of basketball is the primary benefit of participating on the AAU James Island Elite Basketball team.
